ABOUT
The horse world is filled with labels, cliques and competition. Universal truths are often lost in the tangle of marketing buzzwords, discipline-specific language, and personal biases. However, most riders, regardless of discipline, would agree that they want to work in harmony with their horse, and they want a horse that is a pleasure to ride. Personal and competitive goals aside, they want a versatile, well-trained horse and the skills to be a secure and effective horseman or horsewoman.

My training philosophy is simple:
... Horse handling and riding should be safe and enjoyable for both horse and rider
... Proper biomechanics and rider position is critical to developing relaxed and forward gaits, responsiveness and balance
... Understanding how horses learn is critical to developing a willing, trusting partnership in the saddle and on the ground

I approach the training of horse and rider from multiple perspectives: physical, mental, and emotional. By combining the principles of classical dressage, biomechanics, behavioral sciences, and horsemanship, I bring proven strategies and tools to help both riders and horses use their bodies correctly, communicate effectively and deepen their partnership.
If you are interested in developing a stronger partnership with your horse through improved communication, biomechanics, and riding skills, please contact me.

Hello
My name is Monica Pandya
USDF Silver and Bronze Medalist
A lifelong equestrian, I discovered a love of horses in the womb. I started my riding career at the age of 6, taking weekly lessons with a local judge. Once I bought my first horse, Hope, my path turned from showing to horsemanship. At the age of 12 I found myself faced with a troubled young horse, and little help to understand her. Horsemanship became my passion, riding with Buck Brannaman, Ricky Quinn, and Joel Conner to name a few of my early influences. Understanding how horses think, learn, and how to help them shifted into a part-time job as people started asking me for help. By age 15 I was working full time training horses, and teaching lessons. Launching a rescue and rehabilitation program, sitting on the board of directors of a local racehorse program, and partnering with local vets, I married my goal of veterinary science with my passion for horsemanship.

As my education developed, I became more and more interested in Biomechanics. I discovered Dr. Gerd Heuschmann in 2012, and have been riding with him ever since. He slowly changed my "cowboy seat" towards classical dressage. I found a niche building on my experience and expertise in young horse development. As my education continued, I discovered that riding is truly the best physical therapy for horses, and turned towards the rehabilitation side of my business. Over the years as I have continued my education, I have added Magnawave PEMF, equine Massage, Neuromyofascial release, cupping, gua sha, acupressure, kinesiology tape, Therapeutic ultrasound, TENS therapy, cold laser, and in-hand therapeutic ground work to my growing list of qualifications.

In 2021 I decided to work towards my dressage medals and get back into the show ring, earning my Bronze medal scores in just seven trips down centerline in 2021-2022, finishing my Silver in early 2023. Now I have a two year old GOV filly I am looking forward to developing once my current horse retires.
